In January of 2009, the nice people of Multnomah county animal control found me wandering the streets of South East Portland, and decided that this was not the right place for a dog as obviously nice as I am. They passed me to the folks atOregon Dog Rescue, who promptly put my face on the internet and arranged for me to be fostered atLexi Dog. It didn't take long before a nice man, looking for a dog to share his life with, saw my picture and said "that one!" He came by to meet me, and a few days later I got to move into his house.

My new owner gave me a nice bed, a nifty new collar that matches my coat color, feeds me yummy nutritious food, takes me for long walks, and best of all, is willing to play fetch with me until I can barely keep my tongue from hanging on the ground. Life is good. In exchange for all these good things, my duty is to keep the yard clear of the pestiferous grey squirrels. The apricots and tomatoes must be kept safe!
